Tulsi's effects on the body are comprehensive but often subtle. As a balm for the body, mind and soul, its properties have been used in India for more than 5000 years. "Tulsi, the 'Queen of Herbs', has made its way to the West today. Regular users of tulsi tea have a very positive view of it. Drink tulsi tea every day as much as you like - unlike many herbs, there is no need to dose it. Children love it too.
"Organic India" tulsi is grown on rural farms in a sustainable way. These organic teas are made from the finest tulsi leaves and flowers, blended with other organic herbs, teas or spices. This creates a natural but distinctive beverage.
Use: 1 teaspoon of tea in 120 ml of boiling water, stir. Leave for 3-5 minutes, strain and serve. Can be sweetened. Doubly strong when chilled. Best drunk without milk.
