Jiva Oil Pulling is a blend of natural oils and herbs for comprehensive oral care and hygiene. It does not contain alcohol. It is based on the Kavala-Gandusha therapy described in Ayurvedic scriptures. Kavala is a procedure in which a small amount of oil is taken into the mouth, swirled for 2-3 minutes and quickly spit out. Meanwhile, filling the mouth with oil and keeping it motionless in the oral cavity for a few minutes is called Gandusha. During this practice, you may begin to sweat a little - this is a sign that toxins are being removed from the body. Your eyes may also water and your nose may run a little - this is a sign that your mouth and throat are clearing. Regular rinsing with oil strengthens teeth and gums, helps prevent tooth decay, bad breath, bleeding gums, dry throat and cracked lips. In addition to improving dental health, it also helps detoxify the body from the inside out and provides a host of other health benefits.
Recommended use: Pour 8-10 ml of oil into the mouth. Rinse and swish it around in your mouth for 3-5 minutes. Spit out and rinse your mouth with water. Use daily before brushing your teeth. Do not swallow the oil
