"Dhatri is a ProAge Ayurvedic water with a soothing effect, suitable for face and hair.

"ProAge Ayurvedic Water is not a simple toner, but our own version of the Korean mist, a K-beauty cosmetic product rich in valuable active ingredients for the skin.

Despite its name, it does not contain added water, only that contained in the plant extracts.

Instead, it contains aloe vera juice and chamomile and lavender hydrolats.

Dual molecular weight hyaluronic acid (low and medium), betaine and saccharide isomerate moisturise the skin without weighing it down.

Dhatri is rich in active ingredients with soothing, anti-ageing, antioxidant and toning properties. It is also excellent for moisturising hair to make it soft and silky.

It contains Ayurvedic extracts of amla (found in Triphala), tulsi, jasmine and a soothing and antioxidant phytocomplex made up of 7 plants, including liquorice and Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola), two herbs from Ayurvedic traditions.

In addition to Amla, Triphala, Haritaki and Bibhitaki are antioxidant-rich herbs.

The selected Ayurvedic herbs have specific tonic, antibacterial, antioxidant and soothing properties.

Like the Korean mist, it is used after cleansing the face to replenish moisture and prepare the skin for subsequent treatments. It can also be applied to the face during the day and has a refreshing, toning, moisturising and soothing effect.

When used after shampooing the scalp, it has a soothing effect, especially in case of dryness and itching. Sprayed on the lengths of the hair, it gives a silky softness.

Dhatri is one of Amla's names and means 'nurturing mother'.

The name of this water is inspired by an Indian myth that depicts three Ayurvedic herbs: Amla (in Triphala), Tulsi and Jati (jasmine).

Ayurvedic origins

Amla: together with Bibhītaka and Harītakī, is found in Triphala.

Rich in natural antioxidants, it promotes longevity and is able to restore the balance of the three doshas that regulate the body.

For the skin, it has a toning effect.

Tulasī (Tulsi), holy basil: rich in natural antioxidants. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and anti-ageing properties. In Ayurveda, the aqueous extract of Tulsi is considered to be an excellent anupana (vehicle) for other active ingredients.

Jasmine: has eudermin, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. In Ayurveda, it is a kuṣṭhaghna plant, i.e. useful in skin diseases.

Centella asiatica: anti-inflammatory, therapeutic, improves skin elasticity, stimulates blood circulation. In Ayurveda, it is a tridosha rasayana plant, i.e. balances the 3 doshas and rejuvenates.

Licorice: anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, rich in antioxidants. In Ayurveda it is a rasāyana plant, i.e. rejuvenating. It soothes the Vata and Pitta Ayurvedic doshas.

Recommendations for use:

After cleansing, apply ProAge Ayurvedic Water to the face to moisturise the skin. Gently massage to help absorption. You can spritz the water on your face or scalp for a moisturising and soothing effect, or on your hair to soften it.
