"Monoi de Tahiti® is a wonderful cosmetic plant butter made by soaking the flowers of the Tiare shrub (Gardenia Tahitensis), a flowering shrub that grows on the Pacific islands, in refined coconut oil. This firming oil leaves the skin silky smooth and supple, with a delicate fragrance. The amber coloured jar effectively protects Monoï from light.

How to use

Skin care: Tahiti Monoï ® is a comprehensive face, body and hair care product suitable for all skin types. Use undiluted for daily face, body and hair care or as an after-sun moisturiser. During the winter months, it can replace your day and night creams.

Hair care: Tahiti Monoï® is invaluable for strengthening and shining hair. Tahiti Monoï® is also recommended as a hair mask from root to tip. It is a beautifying elixir whose restorative properties leave hair soft, supple and shiny.

- For dry hair: apply a few drops to the ends of the hair to deeply nourish without rinsing.

- For wet hair: add a small amount of oil to the palm of your hand. Apply a small amount of oil to the hair and massage in. Allow to soak in and leave on for at least 15 minutes. Then wash out with a mild shampoo. Repeat weekly for ideal results.

Warning: Monoi de Tahiti liquefies at temperatures above 24 °C and becomes liquid like the oil bottle version. This is a natural process that does not affect the quality of the product. To restore its solidity, simply cool the Monoi de Tahiti jar under a stream of cold water or put it in the fridge for a while.

This is why we only sell this variant of butter during the cold months, because during the summer months, when the butter liquefies, there is a risk of leaks during transport.
