NOW Standardised extract of ashwagandha is a plant widely used in Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of herbal medicine. Ashwagandha is used as a general tonic and adaptogenic to help the body adapt to temporary habitual stress. In addition, ashwagandha helps maintain a healthy immune system.

Quantity per serving:

Withania somnifera root extract - 450mg (at least 2.5% of total withanolides - 11 mg).

Other Ingredients:

Rice flour, hypromellose (cellulose capsule) and stearic acid (vegetable source). Contains no yeast, wheat, gluten, soya, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nuts and sesame. Manufactured in a GMP facility where other ingredients containing these allergens are processed.

Suggested use:

Take 1 capsule 2-3 times a day, with water, after meals.

For adults only. Not recommended for pregnant and/or lactating women. Consult your doctor if you are taking medication (especially thyroid hormones) or if you have medical conditions (especially thyroid and gastrointestinal diseases, including ulcers).
