Quinoa Red, organic, Smart Organic, 250g

Quinoa is a gluten-free seed, high in protein, and one of the few plant foods that contains enough of all nine essential amino acids. They also have a lot more fiber than most grains. Quinoa is rich in flavonoids, including quercetin and kaempferol. These are powerful plant antioxidants with many health benefits.

Red Quinoa has a richer flavor, slightly chewier and richer texture, and a slightly nuttier flavor compared to white Quinoa. It is often the kynva of choice for cold salads because it holds its shape better during cooking.

Recommended use : Pour 2 cups of water into a wide pot and bring to a boil. Stir in 1 cup of pumpkin seeds, cover and bring to a boil again. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 18-23 minutes or until all the water is absorbed. When the kynva is properly prepared, you can see that small "tails" have sprouted from the seeds. Then you can use the kynva as a base for a breakfast bowl, for a salad or as an addition to a meal.
