Jala Neti is an original nasal cleansing procedure described in Sanskrit. In India, this traditional Ayurvedic procedure has been known and highly valued for thousands of years.
In ancient Vedic scriptures, Jala Neti is described as a daily nasal wash-cleaning using a nasal cleansing dish. This is a very effective way to loosen any mucus and dirt in the nasal area. The Jala Neti procedure helps to reduce imbalances and facilitates the maintenance of youth.
Instructions for use:
Fill the Neti Pot nasal cleansing container with warm, slightly salted water. Avoid iodine-enriched salt, it is best to use only good and natural salt without any additional additives such as Himalayan crystallized salt or pure sea salt. The salt concentration is about 1% (meaning 2.5g of salt in 1/4 liter of water). Insert the funnel of the nasal cleansing container into your nostrils. The position of the head and nasal cleansing vessel is adjusted so that water can drain out of the other nostril. Breathe calmly through your mouth during the procedure.
The technique is not as heavy or awkward as it may seem at first. You will be pleasantly surprised by this simple and effective way of healthcare. Once accustomed, this procedure can be completed in about 3 minutes and is easily integrated into a daily body cleansing procedure such as showering and brushing your teeth.
