Users manual:

Put 3-5 (possibly 6-8) pieces of soap nuts in a small cotton bag (included), tie and place directly in the drum of the washing machine. Fill with laundry 3/4 washing machine for better effect. You can wash with or without soaking. Because nuts are odorless, you can add them by washing a few drops of essential or aromatic oils such as lavender or nuts. The nuts can be used a few more times before you throw them in the compost pile. You can also use bleach, baking powder or a garden for white laundry. The nuts are also suitable for hand washing.

No fabric softener is required. At the end of the wash cycle, remove the cotton bag and dispose of the nuts in organic waste.
